Story Chocolates and all of its contents and services, is owned and/or operated by Story Chocolates. Your use of this website is conditional upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced in the Terms of Service Agreement (the "Agreement").
Order Acceptance Policy
Orders can only be accepted if placed using the latest version/update of our website, and we reserve the right to refuse orders placed on/over older pages where prices or stock availability differs from the latest version. We therefore strongly recommend that before adding items to your basket, book-marked or cached pages are refreshed and reloaded.
Please note that we do not accept orders from email addresses that use spam filter programs that require manual confirmation.
All specifications are those quoted by ourselves and every care is taken to ensure that all descriptions are correct, but slight variations may occur within acceptance trade tolerances. Every effort has been made to ensure that the description on the website is accurately reproduced; however, variations may occur due to the reproduction process and individual monitor settings, for which we apologise but can take no responsibility.
In the event content on the website contains incorrect information, or a product is listed at an incorrect price, due to typographical errors or error in placing information, Story Chocolates has the right to refuse or cancel any orders for products listed at the incorrect price. Story Chocolates shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your PayPal account has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled. Story Chocolates shall immediately issue a credit to your PayPal account in the amount of the incorrect price.
We do our best to dispatch all orders within two working days of receiving them, but do not normally send orders out on Saturdays unless specifically requested. We cannot however, guarantee delivery times as these are out of our control. The statutory delivery times allowed by Distance Selling regulations is 30 days, we will however endeavor to deliver your order within seven days from payment.
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide an address suitable for delivery, the customer must therefore ensure the address and postcode entered during the checkout process is correct.
Orders sent using Royal Mail can only be tracked within the UK, we therefore cannot track orders once they have been passed into the hands of another postal service.
Items returned to us as "undelivered" by any postal carrier will not be re-dispatched until extra postal costs have been paid in full and postal address re-confirmed.
Please note we are unable to deliver orders to PO Boxes, so any such address on any order will not be processed.
We confirm orders by email, as well as notifications should there be a query on an order.
Please ensure you add our email address to your Address Book to ensure important emails concerning orders are not rejected by spam filters.
Our ranges are specially made by us, and are not mass produced, therefore we carry only limited stocks. If you wish to check availability before you order, you can do this by emailing us at email@example.com. In the event that an item is out of stock we will let you know when ordered and will substitute with another of your choice.
Whilst we make every effort to hold our prices, we are at the mercy of inflation, in addition rises to postal charges and manufacturing costs, ad from time to time must therefore reserve the right to increase our prices in line with these rises, which are outside of our control.
As a small company we are not VAT registered, so we do not charge this on to our customers.
Card payment transactions are made using PayPal. For security reasons we do not accept credit/debit cards orders over the phone. In so doing, you do not disclose your bank details to anyone in this company. You can order safely online.
After you have placed your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation from PayPal. This email is confirmation that your order has been passed on to us.
Customers with a UK Bank Account can also pay using bank transfer. Payment must be made in £ pound sterling and orders cannot be dispatched until your payment appears in our bank records.

Order by Post and Email
We accept orders by post and email.
We do not accept cash payments with orders made by post.
Please be aware that our products may contain traces of nuts. We take every precaution to avoid this, but it is not always possible to avoid in our working environment.
Please note that you have to be 18 years of age to order our alcoholic products. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are agreeing that you are of age to buy these products.
